I love trying new spots that have halal options. I got their beef and chicken empanadas which were freshly made. The green sauce it comes w was so good! I also tried their horchata coffee and it was perfect. Will be back to try their saltenas!

La Placita: what greater of a compliment can I give when I say this little place feels like a second home. The moment you walk into this family-run cafe, you’re greeted as if they’ve been waiting to welcome you for decades. The prices are so affordable it feels almost illegal. The food I’ve tried, especially the saltena, was wonderful, and the vibe of this cafe makes you want to stay and chat for hours. Hoping that they stay in business for a long time

Quaint and cozy new Bolivian snack cafe. Come and enjoy board games, cute decor and a quiet atmosphere. Their santanas are delicious. The crust is a bit sweet and the filling is deliciously moist (no soggy bottoms here!) I took a star because even though the santana didn't taste burnt the bottom was very well done. Additionally, the santanas aren't on the menu (but to be fair she said they haven't had there grand opening yet.) I'd definitely come back! My step daughter had the curry puff and said it had good flavor and was delicious.

Yesterday, we were out looking for some coffee and a place to sit down and work on our laptops, and we ended up finding this hidden gem. I have to say, the empanadas were absolutely delicious. I even decided to try the cheese empanada with powdered sugar, which is traditionally enjoyed as a snack in Bolivia, and it definitely hit the spot. The other empanadas had beef in them, and to my surprise, the beef was halal, which was a huge plus. For drinks, I tried the kale celery juice with a touch of pineapple for sweetness, along with the cafecito horchata. The horchata and cinnamon flavors mixed with the espresso were amazing and honestly had me excited from the first sip. We’ll definitely be coming back. This place is still new, so make sure to come by and show your support. It’s truly a great spot to visit, relax, work, and try something different.

Love this place! Must try the Berry Nuttella mini pancakes and so far my favorite drink is Barrio latte which is espresso with Horchata milk. So good! Love the Latin theme and the sweet owner that makes this place a gem.
